What information does MCH require to match Healthcare records?
Obviously, if you have NPI numbers available this makes life easy, but they are not required. The more basic information you can send over the better. Full name, address (both physical and mailing if available) and any other information that can help separate potential duplicates at a particular location.
What type of data can be appended?
MCH can append almost any data elements we have on our file. Many companies want more information on the medical specialties of the physicians, email addresses if they do not have one already, ownership information, type of practice, etc.
Are there minimums that apply to this service offering?
Yes, the appending process can be complex. The quality of the input file and the ease of match process vary greatly. In general, MCH will want to look at the project to determine the effort required before we quote anything. But even the most basic efforts are a multi-process effort and therefore typically require a $1,000 minimum. This is credited against any actual setup quote.
